Description

Calcium D-Glucarate

Calcium D-Glucarate is a powerful inhibitor of β-glucuronidase, which enhances the detoxification pathways of the body. Additionally, calcium d-glucarate has shown to be particularly effective in reducing estrogen and lipid levels. In fact some research notes that supplementation with this estrogen-lowering compound can reduce serum levels of estrogen by as much as 23%![1,2]

Green Tea Extract

Highly touted for its numerous health benefits, particularly in regards to cardiovascular health, green tea is included for its fat loss benefits. Green tea leaves are rich in several polyphenols and catechins, most notably EGCG. Countless studies have shown that green tea catechins increase energy expenditure and fat loss.[3,4] Some research even notes green tea can improve exercise endurance, meaning you’ll burn more calories during your workouts leading to even faster fat loss![5]

Phosphatidylserine

Naturally-occurring in the human brain, phosphatidylserine is a fat soluble amino acid derivative known for its ability to improve cognition, mental processing, and memory.[6,7] But it’s also a valuable cortisol lowering agent, too.

Phosphatidylserine reduces Adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), the hormone primarily responsible for cortisol production in the body.[8] Lowering ACTH effectively results in lower cortisol production in the body, helping you stay less stressed and indirectly boosting anabolic hormones (i.e. testosterone), since chronically elevated cortisol levels can blunt testosterone production.

Diindolylmethane (DIM)

Found in all kinds of cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage, diindolylmethane (DIM) is an potent aromatase inhibitor and estrogen blocker. DIM shifts estrogen metabolism in the body to work for you instead of against you. In particular, DIM stimulates Phase I enzymes which activates AhR in order to get more “good estrogen”, like 2-hydroxyestrone and less “bad estrogens”, such as 4-hydroxy and 16-hydroxy.[9,10,11]

Estrogen is not bad, but excessive estrogen can lead to fat gain, cause difficulty losing fat, water retention, mood swings, cravings and other deleterious effects. Cortisol like estrogen is not inherently bad, but excessive cortisol— otherwise known as the “stress hormone”, can slow down fat loss and even lead to the body storing fat in “problem areas” like the hips and butt in women and stomach and lower back in men. And with the stresses of life, cortisol can get out of control!

We don’t want to eliminate estrogen since it is needed for muscle growth and fat loss. Rather than eliminating all estrogen, we want to control estrogen in your favor! MTS Nutrition TYRANT™ can increase the amount of “good” estrogens (2-hydroxy) and decreases the amount of “bad” estrogens (4-hydroxy and 16-hydroxy). This means optimizing muscle growth and fat loss by producing more “good” estrogens while decreasing the risks of elevated “bad” estrogen levels. Cortisol is called the “stress hormone” because it is released in response to stress and anxiety. When released at a normal level, cortisol helps restore homeostasis after stressful events. But when too much cortisol is released or cortisol levels are elevated for too long, negative effects arise. Excessive cortisol levels can lead to suppression of the immune system, excessive protein breakdown, and the accumulation of abdominal fat. We don’t want to get rid of cortisol since we need it, we want to control it.

Here is a quick summary of the effects of these ingredients:
  • DIM positively shifts estrogen metabolism to produce more good estrogens and less bad estrogens.
  • Calcium D Glucarate increases the elimination of cancer-promoting toxins and estrogens.
  • Phosphatidylserine not only will improve brain functioning but will also help control cortisol levels.
  • Green tea improves overall health and promotes fat loss.

Tyrant Cortisol Hardening Agent

I've been taking Tryant about a week and a half and don't see any changes. I'm 72 years old and honestly I don't expect much. I've been training for 42 years and thought I would give it a try.It is a supplement so with that said it supplements and not live changing results.

I have noticed since taking Tyrant that I have lost a solid inch around my waist but more importantly, the definition that I am seeing with my abs is noticeable. I have taken Tyrant for 2 months and my workout routine has not changed all that much. I do a lot of MRT / Superset training and I am excited to see what the results look like after a few more months.

Awesome

Tyrant is a true to its name supplement. I noticed a difference after one week of taking it and losing body fat.
