Hurry While Supplies Last
Banded Good Morning
The banded good morning strengthens the hamstrings, glutes and lower back through a hinge, teaching the exact pattern that protects your spine under load. Bands make it accessible and joint-friendly.
How to Perform
- Stand on the middle of the band and loop the top over the back of your shoulders, hands holding it in place.
- Set your feet hip-width apart with a soft bend in the knees.
- Push your hips back and hinge forward, keeping your back flat, until your torso is near parallel to the floor.
- Drive your hips forward to stand tall, squeezing your glutes.
- Keep the movement at the hips, not by rounding the back.
Tips
- Only hinge as far as you can with a flat back; range comes with practice.
- Keep the shins mostly vertical and the weight in your midfoot.
- Brace your core hard before each rep.
