Marc Lobliner’s 2026 212 Mr. Olympia Predictions

Marc Lobliner’s current call for the 2026 212 Olympia: Keone Pearson keeps the title in one of the deepest 212 lineups we have seen in years.

My read on the race: Keone is still the man to beat, Shaun is always dangerous, Lucas has proven he belongs on the podium, and Courage could be the guy who screws up everybody's predictions.

The Complete 212 Olympia Prediction

1. Keone Pearson (2026 212 Olympia Champion)

I’m sticking with Keone until somebody proves they can beat him. He has the structure, shape, tiny waist, round muscle bellies, and enough maturity now that he isn’t just the aesthetic guy anymore. THE BEST SHAPE IN BODYBUILDING.

Back: elite. Shape: elite. Flow: elite. Conditioning: good enough when he nails it. Shaun may get harder, Courage may look freakier, and Breon may bring insane maturity - but Keone has the most complete look in the division right now.

2. Shaun Clarida

Shaun is still one of the best bodybuilders on Earth regardless of weight class. His conditioning is insane, his muscle maturity is elite, and he always looks bigger than the scale says he should.

Glutes: peeled. Hamstrings: peeled. Back detail: ridiculous. The challenge is structure. Shaun can be harder than Keone and still lose because Keone has such a beautiful overall shape. If Keone is off, Shaun is right there. He just lacked Keone’s shape.

3. Lucas Garcia

Lucas already proved he belongs on the podium. He has enough size, great balance, and a complete enough physique that he can stand with the best guys in the division without getting exposed.

He doesn’t win because of one freak body part—he wins because the whole physique works. The problem is getting past two of the best 212 bodybuilders in the world. I still have Lucas third.

4. Courage Opara

Courage is the guy who could blow up my top three. He has round muscle, great density, strong conditioning, and he keeps getting better.

The biggest thing I like is that he still looks like he has another level. If anyone jumps from outside the podium onto it this year, Courage is my pick.

5. Angel Calderon Frias

Never sleep on Angel. He has been near the top of this division for years because he brings mature muscle, strong conditioning, and knows exactly how to present his physique.

The only reason he is fifth is because the division keeps getting deeper. If somebody above him misses even slightly, Angel is taking that spot.

Note: When I did the New York Pro in 2023, he missed weight.

6. Breon Ansley

Breon might be the most interesting wildcard in the entire division. He has already proven he can win at the highest level in Classic Physique, and now he is bringing that muscle maturity and experience into 212.

Shape: elite. Posing: elite. Muscle maturity: elite. I just don’t think we have seen the fully maxed-out 212 version of Breon yet. That is why I have him sixth, but his ceiling could be much higher.

A true genetic freak, just inconsistent.

7. Nihat Kaya

Nihat has already shown he can beat a lot of very good 212 bodybuilders. He belongs in these comparisons.

The reason I have him seventh is not because I think he got worse—it is because the field got better. If Nihat improves even slightly, this placement could look stupid.

8. Radoslav Angelov

Radoslav has enough muscle, conditioning, and momentum to make noise here. He is absolutely good enough to move up.

The question is how he looks when he gets into those comparisons against the very best guys in the division. I think he lands around eighth.

9. Francisco Barrios Vlk

Francisco has already proven he can place well at the Olympia. Once you are already in that range, one great offseason and one perfect peak can move you several spots.

I think the depth of this year's field pushes him down slightly, but I still see him as a top-ten guy.

10. Vitor Alves Porto De Oliveira

Vitor has already proven he belongs in this conversation, and there is not a huge gap between him and the men immediately ahead of him.

That is what makes 212 so damn good. One better peak, a little more fullness, or somebody ahead of him missing can move him multiple places. I have Vitor rounding out my top ten.

11. Zhaofeng He

Zhaofeng has the muscle and enough momentum to be dangerous. He has already shown he can win.

Now he has to prove he can hold up against established Olympia veterans. I have him just outside my top ten.

12. Felipe Moraes

Felipe is really good and has been competitive with some of the best guys in the division. He absolutely has enough quality to crack the top ten.

The problem is that this field is loaded with proven Olympia competitors. I have him twelfth.

13. Michael Condell

Michael is one of the more interesting Olympia rookies. He has already shown he can win at the pro level.

But the Olympia is different. Winning a pro show is one thing; standing next to Keone, Shaun, Lucas, and Courage is another. I want to see those comparisons before moving him higher.

14. Wei Li

Wei earned his way here and absolutely belongs on the stage. He has enough size and quality to be competitive.

Now we need to see how that physique translates when he is standing next to the best 212 bodybuilders in the world. I have him fourteenth.

15. Nasser Mohammad

Nasser has experience, density, and enough muscle to belong in this division.

The issue is simply depth. There are a lot of really good bodybuilders ahead of him, and somebody has to occupy these middle spots. I have him fifteenth.

16. Naotaka Yokokawa

Naotaka has a very good physique and earned his Olympia spot.

The challenge is that first Olympias are brutal. You can look amazing winning your qualifier and then suddenly find yourself standing next to the absolute best guys in the world. I have him sixteenth.

17. Esteban Fuquene

Esteban has plenty of muscle and belongs on this stage.

This is where the rankings get incredibly tight. Conditioning, fullness, posing, and one weak comparison can move a guy several spots. I have Esteban seventeenth.

18. Felipe Isaac Fierro Lobos

Felipe has had a strong year and earned this opportunity.

I am being conservative because this is his first Olympia. The Olympia is where you find out exactly where you stand against the best. I have him eighteenth.

19. Ching Chieh Lin

Ching has enough experience and muscle to be competitive in this lineup.

I just do not see him breaking into the top half unless several guys ahead of him miss. I have him nineteenth.

20. Yinka Majolagbe

Yinka earned his spot and has enough muscle to belong here.

Now comes the hardest comparison of his career. I have him twentieth, but this is the range where one great peak can move somebody five spots in a hurry.

21. Cameron George

Cameron is another Olympia rookie, which makes him difficult to predict.

I need to see him standing next to established Olympia competitors before I can justify moving him much higher. I have Cameron twenty-first.

22. Xiaoshuang Lan

Xiaoshuang is a very good professional bodybuilder.

That is what people forget about these lower Olympia placements. These are still elite bodybuilders who can win and place extremely well at professional shows. But this is the Olympia, and I have him twenty-second.

23. Juan Aleman

Juan earned his opportunity, but I do not have enough evidence yet to put him ahead of some of the more established Olympia competitors.

That does not mean he cannot surprise people. For right now, I have him twenty-third.

24. Andrey Pereira

Somebody has to finish last, and that is the worst part about ranking an Olympia lineup.

Andrey is still one of the best 212 bodybuilders in the world just by earning the right to stand on this stage. But if I am ranking everybody from first to last, I have him twenty-fourth.

The Bottom Line

I’m taking Keone Pearson to win the 2026 212 Olympia.

But I do not think this thing is automatic.

Shaun Clarida is still Shaun Clarida. Lucas Garcia has already proven he belongs on the podium. Courage Opara might be the most dangerous guy moving up the rankings. Angel Calderon has years of experience at the highest level. And Breon Ansley is the wildcard who could make this entire prediction look stupid.

That is an absolutely ridiculous group of bodybuilders.

And I guarantee something in this article is going to look wrong after prejudging.

Somebody will show up better than we have ever seen them. Somebody will miss. Somebody will shock everyone.

That is bodybuilding. That is why we watch.
