Hurry While Supplies Last
Suspension Chest Press
The suspension chest press is a bodyweight push-up variation that adds instability, forcing your chest, shoulders and core to work overtime. Adjust your body angle to make it as easy or as hard as you need.
How to Perform
- Set the straps to about waist height and hold a handle in each hand.
- Face away from the anchor, walk your feet back and lean forward with your arms extended, body in a straight line.
- Lower your chest toward the handles by bending your elbows to about 45 degrees.
- Press back up until your arms are straight, squeezing your chest.
- Keep your core tight so your hips do not sag or pike throughout.
Tips
- The more horizontal your body, the harder the press; walk your feet back to increase difficulty.
- Keep your body in one straight line from head to heels the whole time.
- Control the instability slowly rather than fighting the straps with speed.
