Suspension Triceps Press
The suspension triceps press is a bodyweight triceps extension that builds the back of the arms with constant tension. You press yourself back up by straightening your elbows, and you set the difficulty with your body angle.
How to Perform
- Set the straps to about head height and hold a handle in each hand, facing away from the anchor.
- Lean forward with your arms extended, then bend at the elbows to lower your head between your hands.
- Keep your upper arms high and still, hinging only at the elbows.
- Press yourself back up by straightening your arms and squeezing your triceps.
- Keep your body in a straight line from head to heels throughout.
Tips
- Keep your elbows high and pointing forward; only the forearms move.
- The more horizontal you are, the harder the press.
- Move slowly and under control to protect your elbows.
