Suspension Bicep Curl
The suspension bicep curl trains the arms with your own bodyweight, curling yourself up toward the handles. Set your angle to make it as hard as you like, and enjoy the constant tension on the biceps.
How to Perform
- Set the straps to about head height and hold a handle in each hand with your palms up.
- Lean back with your arms extended, body straight, keeping your upper arms high and still.
- Curl your body up by bending only at the elbows, bringing your hands toward your forehead.
- Squeeze your biceps at the top.
- Lower under control until your arms are straight again.
Tips
- Keep your elbows high and fixed in place; only the forearms move.
- The more you lean back, the harder the curl.
- Keep your core braced so your body stays straight, not piked.
